Work support programs

Medical Assistance Work Supports

The Medical Assistance (MA) Work Supports program provides members with the opportunity to voluntarily participate in employment assistance services offered through AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania. This program was developed to help individuals find training or employment.

  • Resource navigation to help with the job search and application process 
  • Tools For Tomorrow Job Search Workshops to help with resume writing and interviewing 
  • Help finding training, education, and other programs in local areas 

The Work Supports Program helps enrollees facilitate connections to employment and success in the workforce.

Individuals interested in learning more about these services will receive outreach through AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania to provide awareness of and referrals to resources and programs available in their local community.

Health programs

  • Special health programs — Care management

    These special programs are designed for AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania members who have specific conditions. Please go to our care management page to see what programs we have available and how to join.

  • Care for your children — EPSDT

    Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) was created to make sure that children get the medical care they need.

  • Quit smoking

    The AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania tobacco cessation program helps members quit smoking or using other tobacco products.

  • Bright Start® — pregnancy program

    AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania has a special program for pregnant members, called Bright Start.
